Solo traveler nightmare

The guy at the front desk was the only one there, which made me nervous,, but he did try to help at least. The air conditioner didn’t work in the first room, but I eventually got moved to another room,, that was just as dirty.

The price was steep for what I got, but I was kinda stuck in a bind.

Staying at this hotel was a pleasant surprise as it’s just a short walk to both Washington Park and the German-Bohemian Immigrants Monument, making my city exploration super enjoyable. the room was clean and the staff were friendly, which added to my experience.

The donuts in the lobby were a nice touch, and having K-cup coffee available is always a plus for early risers like me.

The bathroom lighting had multiple bulbs out, making it pretty dim when getting ready. The room itself was small and gave off a sense of neglect with stains on both the carpet and sheets. The check-in process was shaky since the credit card machine was inoperable. cash only made for an inconvenient start.

A hidden gem with clean rooms and friendly staff made for a pleasant one-night stay. Fresh fruit offered a nice touch during breakfast, complementing the comfortable bed. However, the rate negotiation over the phone was confusing, and there were issues with the bathroom fixtures that detracted from the experience.

My stay at Colonial Inn Extended Stay was surprisingly pleasant. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my experience much more enjoyable. I particularly appreciated having clean bedding and a comfortable bed – just what I needed for a restful night.

Some facilities need improvement.

This place is a hidden gem! The location is perfect, just north of New Ulm, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making my stay even better. I appreciated the fresh fruit offered in the lobby too!

The front desk person was super kind, and I really enjoyed the fresh fruit in the lobby, which was a nice surprise. I loved the cozy fire pit area that was perfect for relaxing after a long day, and the BBQ facilities added a nice touch for some outdoor cooking. Just a heads up, the towels could have been a bit softer, but it didn’t take away from my stay. 🍉
